Curiosity Quilt

This is the second quilt I designed around the upcoming Ruby Star Society Curio fabric collection: Curiosity.

I wanted to showcase the contrasts of the formal and the whimsical in this collection, paying close attention to scale of the prints:

And I chose a simple geometric quilting design to echo the bold geometry of the quilt without overwhelming it: this is Squared by Leisha Farnsworth of Quilting It.

This is one of my favorite quilts, ever. The balance of color is so good in this fabric collection, and I love the ordered, yet asymmetric geometry of the quilt design. The Curio fabric collection by Melody Miller will be available in February 2023.
